I am a medical doctor from Johannesburg and the founder of “Cebisa”, which is a health, wellness, safety management and educational platform.
WHY DID YOU BECOME A DOCTOR IN SA?
I’ve always known that I wanted to be a Doctor, and it stemmed from an interest in people, and an interest in helping people. Specifically, in South Africa, because there is so much we can still do in this country.
WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?
I grew up in Port Elizabeth, from primary school to high school. Home is PE.
WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY?
My family, I love being around them. My sisters and I get along so well.
WHAT FOOD DO YOU DISLIKE?
Asparagus, I feel like all sane people would have the same answer.
WHAT ARE YOUR PASSIONS?
I am very passionate about things that set my heart on fire, and it’s usually when someone has done something that just blows me away. I like reading about people all over the world who are doing amazing things.
WHO ARE THE PEOPLE YOU ADMIRE?
I know people always want you to think of these big famous people, but the people I admire are in my own family, like my sister, who has just finished her MBA at Oxford and has worked so hard for it. She has always been my role model, she has always worked very hard for the things she has. My younger sister as well, they are just phenomenal people who never take anything they do for granted, and they’re making waves in their own industries.
